Trains

On Monday mom and I took Keagan to Northpark Mall to see the trains. Keagan has started showing an interest in trains which he calls Choo Choo's! It was really neat. They had downtown Dallas, New York City and a circus. Keagan really liked watching the trains come in and out of the tunnels.

Christmas Time

We had a wonderful and busy holiday time with family and friends. We had an early Christmas with Sean's family before we left to go out of town. I love celebrating Christmas with his family. Everyone is always laughing and having a great time. Keagan really enjoyed Christmas this year. He finally figured out how to unwrap gifts. After opening gifts with his family we loaded up Keagan in his new red wagon and toured the neighborhood. I LOVE to look at Christmas lights and Keagan seemed to enjoy it to! We left to visit my family in Mississippi on Tuesday. We made a quick stop in Shreveport to see my Aunt Judy, cousin Julie and her daughter Avery. My Aunt Judy is such a funny lady, she always makes me laugh. I was really excited to see everyone and have them meet Keagan. I miss seeing my Aunt Judy and Julie. Seeing them brings back memories of my grandparents, who I miss very much. It was so nice to see everyone and Keagan had a great time visiting his cousins. I cant believe that I didn't take any pictures! Next time! When we got to my grandparents Keagan got right out of the car to play in the yard. My grandparents yard is full of pecans. This created a game that kept Keagan busy for quite a while. He would gather up all the pecans and put them into a little stack in the yard.

My uncle came into town with his four kids. There youngest baby is 10 months older than Keagan. They had a really good time playing together. Keagan would follow him all over the house and copy what Beau was doing.

Meeting Mrs. Claus

This week we went spent more time outside enjoying the colder weather. We stopped by Nana's house and helped put up the Christmas lights. Here is Keags all bundled up with Aunt Trudy.Later that night my mom, Sean and I took Keagan to see Mrs. Claus. The city of Farmers Branch was having an outdoor Christmas festival. Our sweet Pam was dressed up as Mrs. Claus!!We all had a great time. The weather really wasn't as bad as I thought. I bundled poor Keagan up in so many layers he look like that kid from the Christmas Story! We watched fireworks and enjoyed hot chocolate. Santa even came in on a fire truck! We decided to skip waiting in line to see Santa. (see previous post) ha ha!!

Brrr...

We have really been enjoying the colder weather over the past week. It really helps me get into a holiday mood. We even had snow one day last week. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera to snap any pictures. Boo! Oh well maybe next time.
Last Saturday we took Keagan to see Santa at Stonebriar mall. I have really been building Santa up this year trying to make it less scary for Keagan. Well, I guess I didn't get the job done because he was NOT into Santa!! He looked terrified!! I resorted to playing peek a boo with the table skirt to try and get a smile out of him. We managed to get a half smile. As soon as he was away from Santa he was happy as could be. Go figure!! Here are a few pictures of him playing after his visit with Santa. Before we left the mall we stopped by the carousel for a quick ride. Keagan has seen the carousel many times but this was his first ride. I didn't trust Sean to take enough pictures so he went on the carousel with Keagan. He seemed to really like the ride. I was afraid of a Santa repeat but he did great.
