Keagan and Sugar

Of all of our dogs Sugar is Keagans favorite. They are best buddies. I think the friendship is strongly based on food. If food is involved then Sugar is sure to be there. Lately I have found them "sharing" graham crackers! Keagan will leave little crumbs behind, Sugar waits until he is done and then cleans up. When I'm rocking Keagan during the day Sugar will come in and climb in the rocker with me. All of the dogs are so sweet with him. Bear will grab a piece of dog food and bring it to Keagan. I of course quickly grab the dog food before it gets into his mouth. But the whole thing is really cute. Here are a few pictures of Sugar and Keagan "sharing".

My two boys

I love them both so much!

Somebody likes watermelon!! Yummy!

We feel ickey cause we are sickey!

Keagan developed a cold late last week and wouldn't you know I caught it!! Runny nose, coughing, sore throat and an ear infection. Boo! I haven't felt this bad in a long time. We are both on antibiotics and decongestants. So far Sean is safe. Keep your fingers crossed he stays well, we need someone to take care of us!

Despite Keagan feeling under the weather he has really started to show an intrest in crawling. He uses his elbows to pull himself across the floor. He has also started to get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth. I have a feeling that he will be really moving soon.

Sugar Rush

Keagan had his first taste of cake on Saturday! He absolutely loved it. He was so excited he sounded like he was hyperventilating! He was very still and held his mouth open the whole time that his grandpa was feeding him little pieces of cake! He had so much frosting his eyes were glazed over. I guess that's what grandpas are for! Here are some pictures of the two caught in the act!

Congrats to Trudy!

This weekend Trudy graduated from UNT! I am so proud of her. She is such a hard worker and I know she will go very far in life. The ceremony was early Saturday morning and knowing that Keagan was not going to last the length of the ceremony I decided to stay behind. My mom and I catered the open house after wards. We got all the food, flowers and decorations ready while everyone was gone. We both really enjoyed doing this so it was a pleasure! Most of the family from Wisconsin came down to celebrate, as well as Cades family from Houston and Texarkana. Everyone had a wonderful time. The weather was so nice on Friday and Sunday we decided it was time for the pool! This was Keagans first time in the "giant bathtub"! He had the best time. His Nana had the cutest turtle float. He was more interested in trying to eat the water than anything else. I know we are going to have a hard time keeping him out of the water when he starts to walk. I am so glad that he loves the water, just like his mama!
